So people look forward to birthday, holidays and vacations. Me being a Apple fanboy, I look forward to Macworld Expo. For me Macworld means it’s time to make a check out to Apple Inc.
I’s time to retire my G4 Powerbook and get a new intel based laptop. I’m going to miss my 12″ laptop, it has served me well of the past four years. With latest upgrade to Leopard (os x 10.5) it seems a little snapper and not ready to retire, but I’m sure I will find a good home for her.
The rumors are Apple will release a brand new ultra portable, if true this may be a contender for my next ride. I’m not sold on the idea of a ultra portable as I get older the though of a screen smaller then my 12″ may be recipe for eyestrain. The Macbook may be my next purchase it’s fast I like the keyboard and I like how easy it is to change the hard drive. There is also a lot of rumors of new LED backlit screens that means longer battery life.
Twelve days to go, it’s like waiting for santa.
